For Dr. S....She's the Best
I know I already posted little O's rash but this is for the doctor's sake. This is how he woke up this morning. Not So Happy on Milk
The Cat Whisperer
Have you ever seen a child so in love with her cat. H treats Miss Daisy like she is human. I think she even knows how to speak cat. She makes these strange cat like noises and Daisy comes running everytime. She has always had a way with animals from the time she was little. I guess one day she will own a farm and it will be the most productive farm around because she will speak the animals language, and the cows will make abundance of milk and the chickens will give more eggs than needed. Thats my girl!Hey...watch this...
Here are B and K playing soccer Saturday. After 4 Saturdays trying to convince B to play; she finally got the nerve. She even got a goal ( in her own net, but her coach says a goal is a goal). B is #7 and K is #6.

Happy B-Day Scooter Boo!
What's that?!? Its a cherry pie. Some people like cake on their birthday but the way to my man's heart is through cherry pie, and when you say cherry pie you have to say it in your best southern accent. And yes the girls and I made it from scratch just for our main man. (Little O watched).
Notice the pj attire on the girls? Thats because we celebrated Scooter Boo's birthday at 10:00 last night. Thanks to his work schedule we learn to savor the moments we get even if it is way past bedtime. Even little O managed to keep himself awake for the occasion.
The girls were so excited for present time. They couldnt wait to show their daddy their treasures they had found at the store for him. Whats funny is that he gets a lot of toys from the girls. Either they know how he is truly a kid at heart or they are hoping to join in on the playtime when he opens them. Either way everyone wins.Sunday, September 23, 2007
Happy Kids at "Happy Cow"
We took a trip to "Happy Cow Farms" today and learned all sorts of interesting facts about milk production and how different pastures change the make-up of the milk produced. We sampled a lot of different milks and Devan didnt show any reaction to the milk at this farm. We may have a new milk in store for the family.

Thumb-body say "Aah"
OK - heres the latest update on Little O. Turns out he is a thumbsucker....I know it completely goes agaist Scotts and my parenting style to allow this hard habit, but look....isnt he so-o-o-o cute? He seems to have picked it up in his sleep, and I am not going to stand over his bed and pull his thumb out throughout the night. He does however suck it during the day too, and rubs my hair when I am holding him. I love it! He is so lovable! He seems to be growing everyday and developing new skills as well. Last night he rolled over from his belly to his back and it scared him terribly.....mainly due to the fact that he couldnt get himself back over. I rushed in and saved the day and put him back on his belly and we finished the night with good rest and no more acrobats. He loves to take a bath...and he swims like a fish in the tub until I sing the "rubby dubby" song to him and then he lays back and relaxes with a smile while I wash his hair. After bath he eats and goes to bed and sleeps all night. What a great baby. From H to K to B to F to D to little O; God has blessed us with amazing children. Everyday I wake up to a new reality of how blessed we are to have such an awesome family. God is good even when we are undeserving and He provides even when numbers dont add up. 1,2,3,4,5,6..... what do these numbers add up to? Peaceful insanity, never a dull moment, lots of hugs and kisses, daily tears, childhood fears, lots of boo boos, more laundry than any one person should have to do, lots of yucks at the dinner table, and too many dirty fingerprints on my walls to count.....but most of all a lot of love. Little O is an awesome addition to our family and I am amazed daily by the joy he brings to all of us. We love you Little O!!!!!Super Soccer Saturday
Here is H making her Mia move. Did she actually get the ball? I dont really remember but she sure does look cool trying. She thinks this is the best sport ever. She actually is very good and tries very hard. So far she has 2 goals claimed in her name. Can you imagine the smile on her face after that? Go-o-o-oal!!!!!!!
Here is K pulling some moves out of her imaginary play book. She wants to be just as good as that sweet boy in the picture with her. Personally I think she could give him a run for his money if she could learn the aggression in the game. Its hard to teach the "take the ball" concept when we have pushed the" share the ball" concept for the entire childhood. K did get her first goal last week and she has been beaming with pride ever since.....not to mention the desire to make all the goals now. You go girl!!Monday, September 17, 2007
Kisses
Doesnt this little face make you want to just kiss it all over? I would say this is one loved little guy. He is constantly being kissed on by myself or his five big sisters. I pray that God is preparing a Godly girl for him and I hope she loves to show love with little kisses. He will be quite spoiled by that time. Right now I will give him more kisses than he will ever need + the kisses times 5 by his sisters. Thursday, September 13, 2007
